This is the INTERViews podcast, the official SempreInter.com podcast, discussing all things Nerazzurri, today focusing on Inter Milan 2-1 Fiorentina Serie A win.
Firstly, in today’s episode on SempreInter.com, Gianmarco and Alessandro discuss, analyze and debate all aspects of the 2-1 win.
Inter started the game in command. Fiorentina defended well. But were unable to hurt Inter on the counter.
In fact, in the 28th minute Inter took the lead. Fiorentina defender Pobgracic scored an owngoal. The goal followed a corner Inter won which shouldn’t have been given.
This, as the ball was out of bounds. Then in the 44th minute Fiorentina were awarded a penalty after the VAR intervened.
Given how the hand ball rule is worded, meaning an offense must be deliberate, the decision was shocking. Mandragora equalized. As pointed out by Simone Inzaghi.
In the second half Inter continued where they left off. Continued piling on the pressure. And creating chances.
