Valentin Carboni hopes to make the Inter Milan squad for the FIFA Club World Cup after returning home from Marseille.
According to TMW, the 19-year-old has been in Italy for a few days and is already working on his recovery.
Marseille signed Valentin Carboni on loan with an option to buy last summer.
However, the clubs agreed to terminate his temporary move to the Stade Velodrome today.
Indeed, sidelined with a long-term knee injury, Carboni returns to his parent club to continue his recovery.
Valentin Carboni Aims to Join Inter Milan Squad for FIFA Club World Cup
Simone Inzaghi cannot immediately call upon Carboni for obvious reasons.
However, the talented teenager could regain full fitness toward the end of the season.

It would put him at Inzaghi’s disposal for the upcoming Club World Cup.
Carboni could be an exciting addition to the Nerazzurri squad now that Joaquin Correa is completely out of the project.
Indeed, the transfer window will come too late for the tournament, branding the Argentine youngster as a mid-season signing.
Team for next season:
Goalkeepers- stay the same, Sommer starter, only need to give Martinez some playing time to see if he is Inter material.
Centre backs- go for Bertola and Boscagli for free, then send Palacios and Bertola to some mid-place team on loan. And the Boscagli instead of Acerbi (good player, but age and injuries caught up to him).
Left back- buy out Zalewski and we should be good on left side for 5 years with him and Dimarco.
Right side- too bad we didn’t sign Bellanova when we had a chance, except him in seria A there is only Dodo who has potential to maybe play for us, perhaps Holm. Solid options would be Ratiu from Vallecano, or M. Fernandes from Porto.
Midfield- Frattesi and Asllani out, maybe Paz and Ricci in.
Forward- Arnautovic and Correa leaving, Taremi maybe as 4th option, deffinitely not 3rd.
J. David maybe a bit expensive on wages, but could battle for starting lineup. Younger Esposito on loan as starter somewhere in serie A, and older Esposito if we could bring back, in my opinion in better form than Taremi, and much younger. And to see if Inzaghi could give Carboni a chance, shame he couldn’t grow this season because of an injury
Pazza Inter Amala 😀
Paz will most likely go back to Real Madrid. It seems that neither does he plan to come to Inter, nor Inter have the money to buy him.
