Simone Inzaghi had to take the 27-year-old off during Monday’s home clash against Fiorentina in Serie A.

Indeed, Thuram picked up a knock on his ankle, forcing the manager’s hand already in the first half.

Marko Arnautovic took his teammate’s place and scored a second-half winner.
