Midfielder Petar Sucic is just the first of a number of young signings Inter Milan will make this summer to freshen up the squad.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Midfielder Petar Sucic will join Inter at the end of the current season.

The Croatian international has already undergone his medical with the Nerazzurri.

Sucic will spend the remainder of the current season with Dinamo Zagreb. But then he will become available in the Inter squad when the Club World Cup begins in the summer.

Petar Sucic The First Of Several Young Signings At Inter Milan This Summer

The Nerazzurri’s intention with Sucic is clear.

The 22-year-old Croat will be a long-term solution in midfield. Inter are backing him to become a starter for years to come.

But Sucic will not be the only young player who arrives at Inter this summer.

In attack, Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa will be leaving when their contracts expire.

And Inter will aim to sign a striker who is a similar age profile to Sucic.

And in defense, where only one of veterans Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij will remain at the club, it will be a similar story.

Inter’s intention is to sign a young defender for the future as much as for the present.
