From super subs in the World Cup final to starters in the Derby d’Italia, Lautaro Martinez and Randal Kolo Muani are once again rivals.
This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Lautaro Martinez will certainly be in the starting eleven for Inter this evening. And it looks equally certain that Randal Kolo Muani will be in the lineup for Juventus.
Martinez is in his seventh season as an Inter player. And his second as the Nerazzurri’s captain.
Kolo Muani, on the other hand, only just joined Juventus.
The 26-year-old arrived on loan from Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer window.
However, Kolo Muani’s impact has been massive. He has started three Serie A matches to date – and scored five goals already.
From World Cup Final To Derby D’Italia – Lautaro Martinez & Randal Kolo Muani Rivals
Lautaro Martinez and Kolo Muani will be on opposite sides of one of the biggest fixtures in Italian football.
But this will not be the highest-profile match that both strikers have played in.

Martinez was part of the Argentina squad that won the 2022 World Cup.
And Kolo Muani was part of the France squad that reached the final, which ended in a dramatic penalty shootout after a 3-3 draw.
Neither Martinez nor Kolo Muani started that match. However, both had a big impact off the bench.
