Inter Milan midfielder stalwart Hakan Calhanoglu cannot catch a break this season, with recurring injuries curtailing his momentum.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Turk’s percentages have plummeted compared to the early season.
Hakan Calhanoglu was in the starting line-up last Sunday as Inter lost to Juventus 1-0 in Turin.
But he was far from his usual best.
Unfortunately, that’s been a common theme in 2025, with the 31-year-old’s form constantly marred by injuries.
Indeed, he had been out for a month with a thigh problem after the infamous defeat in January’s Supercoppa Italiana fiasco.
Worrying Stats Show Inter Milan Star Hakan Calhanoglu Downfall
Calhanoglu’s most recent injury, the latest in a series, sidelined him for about a month.
Since returning, he has struggled to get back to his best form.

For context, the Turkish midfielder had a 57% success rate in duels and won 54% of second balls earlier this term.
However, those numbers have dropped to 32% and 31%, respectively.
Furthermore, his chances created and balls recovered per game have decreased from 1.9 to 0.5 and from 5.7 to 2.1.
Meanwhile, Simone Inzaghi continues to trust his midfield dynamo.
