Inter Milan are reportedly in the race to sign Corinthians center-forward Yuri Alberto to address attacking shortcomings.
According to R7 Esportes journalist Jorge Nicola via FCInterNews, the Italian giants are keeping close tabs on the 23-year-old.
The Brazilian’s agent, Andre Cury, listed Inter Milan as one of several European teams interested in his client.
Following an uninspiring short-team stint at Zenit St Petersburg in 2022/23, Alberto returned to his homeland.
Indeed, he joined Corinthians on loan with an option to buy in June 2022 before making his switch permanent in January 2023.
Inter Milan Among Clubs Interested in Corinthians Striker Yuri Alberto
Though his short foray into European football didn’t go to plan, Alberto could soon return to the continent.
However, this time, he could move to one of Europe’s top-five leagues, with Inter one of the candidates to sign him.

But he won’t come cheap. Corinthians won’t let their star striker leave for less than €25 million. Yet, the Nerazzurri can reportedly afford such terms.
Alberto’s arrival should make up for the impending departures of Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautovic.
Furthermore, the future of Mehdi Taremi is in the balance amid a disappointing season.
get him signed asap before another club nabs him from us. Then let him play from the get go rather than wait and stew for no reason. we need a striker that can finish, simple…El Toro is not a great finisher but does make up for it with his contribution in the build up play. Thuram is the dribbler so let him take that role. Taremi is finished end of.
