Inter Milan got the better of familiar foes Lazio in Wednesday’s Coppa Italia quarter-final clash at the San Siro.

Marko Arnautovic and Hakan Calhanoglu scored unanswered second-half goals to inspire Inter to a 2-0 win.

Despite failing to score in the first half, Simone Inzaghi’s charges had Lazio on the ropes all game.

As a result, they will face bitter rivals AC Milan in a two-legged semi-final tie next month.

Per Opta, it will be Inter’s 30th appearance at this stage, with only Juventus (36) bettering that record.

Furthermore, they’ve reached the semi-finals for the fifth time in the last six years.
