Hakan Calhanoglu dedicated his unique goal celebration in last night’s victory over Lazio to a young Inter Milan fan.

Per FCInterNews, Calhanoglu took to Instagram to explain his ‘special’ celebration after converting a penalty last evening.

Marko Arnautovic scored a sublime volley to open the scoring in Inter’s 2-0 home win against familiar foes.

However, the game was in the balance until the 77th minute.

That’s when Hakan Calhanoglu cleared all doubts.

Indeed, Samuel Gigot conceded a penalty, tackling Joaquin Correa from the back to send the Turk to the spot.

As ever, Calhanoglu was ruthless, beating Christos Mandas with laser-sharp precision.

“Promise to Mia kept,” he wrote on Instagram, explaining how a young fan who had asked him to dedicate a goal celebration to her.

The 31-year-old delivered on that promise and celebrated as little Mia had requested.

Furthermore, Calhanoglu’s act of kindness demonstrated a unique relationship between Inter players and club fans.

Meanwhile, Inter are through to the Coppa Italia semi-finals for the fifth time in the last six seasons.

They’ll meet AC Milan in a two-legged tie in April.
