Inter Milan striker Mehdi Taremi delivered another disjointed performance in last evening’s Coppa Italia win against Lazio.
According to TWM, Taremi was ‘soft, slow, and dazed’ as his scoring drought at Giuseppe Meazza hit a new low.
Manager Simone Inzaghi decided to start the Iranian star ahead of captain Lautaro Martinez.
However, the former Porto talisman wasn’t equal to the challenge.
Unlike Taremi, Marko Arnautovic seized the chance as he opened the scoring with a fabulous volley.

Indeed, he has only scored three goals in 31 appearances for Inter this season.

Therefore, he’ll likely drop to the bench in the upcoming Serie A showdown against Napoli.

L’Inter non ha giocato per niente in modo offensivo, passava la palla all’indietro e ha fatto solo due tiri in porta, quindi non si può criticare gli attaccanti. Quando la squadra giocherà in modo offensivo e creerà occasioni da gol per Taremi, allora si potrà criticarlo.
