Inter Milan got the better of familiar foes Lazio in Wednesday’s Coppa Italia quarter-final clash at the San Siro.

Marko Arnautovic and Hakan Calhanoglu scored unanswered second-half goals to inspire Inter to a 2-0 win.

Despite failing to score in the first half, Simone Inzaghi’s charges had Lazio on the ropes all game.

As a result, they will face bitter rivals AC Milan in a two-legged semi-final tie next month.

Meanwhile, Stefan de Vrij helped Inter keep a second consecutive clean sheet in all competitions.

Thrilled for beating his former team, he took to Instagram to celebrate, stating: “United, always.”
