Striker Marcus Thuram will be back and ready to start in Saturday’s top-of-the-table Serie A clash between Napoli and Inter Milan.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram has been struggling for fitness in the last couple weeks.
The Frenchman sustained a blow to his ankle during a Serie A match against Fiorentina earlier this month.
Thuram did manage to come off the bench during a subsequent match against Juventus.
However, the 27-year-old was clearly not at his best physically in that substitute appearance.
Then, Thuram has missed Inter’s last two matches. He has not bee in the squad for wins over Genoa in Serie A and Lazio in the Coppa Italia.
Marcus Thuram Fit For Napoli Vs Inter Milan Serie A Clash
But the priority for Thuram has always been clear.
The Frenchman has been working towards recovering in time for this weekend’s Serie A clash with Napoli.

That match will pit the teams first and second in the league table.
Therefore, there is certainly the air of a potential title decider to Saturday’s match.
Marcus Thuram has been working patiently in training to shake off his ankle knock.
And according to the Gazzetta, the news is positive. The injury is no longer affecting Thuram, and he will be able to start Saturday’s crunch clash with the Partenopei.
Unless he’s 100%, start him on the bench… We need to stop rushing players back, only for their form and fitness to suffer…
Man i have the impression you are mentally retarded… The same thing you said about Hakan… Seem like you are a guru in football, players fitness and their reintegration back in the team… Trust the club- coaches, they are paid professionals that know how to get a player back to full fitness
