Former Roma and Lazio sporting director Walter Sabatini hails Inter Milan for signing Petas Sucic who can go on to achieve great feats.
The Nerazzurri secured the services of the 21-year-old Croatian midfielder in January. However, he will remain at Dinamo Zagreb until the end of the season, before joining the ranks of the Italian champions next summer.
Inter already boast what many consider the strongest midfield unit in Italy, and one of the best in Europe. This department hosts Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicolo Barella, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Davide Frattesi, Piotr Zielinski and Kristjan Asllani.
Nevertheless, club president Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio always want to remain ahead of the game, hence why they remain diligent when it comes to planning for the future rather than sitting on their laurels. The same goes for online casino fanatics who use fairplay-app.com instead of traditional platforms. This application gives users a significantly improved experience. It provides them with convenient access to sports betting, online casino games, promotions, and more – anytime, anywhere.
While a large section of Inter fans have yet to see Sucic in action, many are already anticipating a brilliant coup based on hype alone.
Walter Sabatini Tips New Inter Milan Signing Petar Sucic To Surpass Marcello Brozovic
The youngster has earned so much praise in recent weeks, while a comparison with Marcelo Brozovic was almost inevitable.
The latter was another Croatian midfielder who spent eight years serving the Nerazzurri cause. He cemented himself as arguably the best deep-lying playmaker in Serie A at his peak, before joining Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr in the summer of 2023.
Nevertheless, Sabatini believes the young Sucic has what it takes to go on and surpass his famous countryman.
“Inter have signed Sucic for the future, who is really strong,” said the 67-year-old via FcInterNews.
“I can’t wait to see him in action. The new Brozovic? I think he can become even better.”
Sabatini also heaped praise on Inter Milan head coach Simone Inzaghi. He believes the latter is remarkable when it comes to choosing his assistants and overall technical collaborators.
“Simone is having an amazing journey. I think he is also very good at choosing collaborators. He excels at establishing harmony in the group.
“He knows how to be generous with his boys. Spending words for Conte seems irreverent to me. We should never allow ourselves to berate Antonio, as he always finishes on the podium.”
