Norwegian referee Espen Eskas will referee the first leg of the Champions League round of sixteen tie between Feyenoord and Inter Milan.
This is confirmed by UEFA, who release the entire list of referees for the round of fixtures via FCInterNews. German Christian Dingert will be on VAR for the clash.
Inter Milan take on Feyenoord in the Champions League this week.
The Nerazzurri travel to Rotterdam to face the Dutch side in the round of sixteen of the competition on Wednesday.
Inter Milan qualified for the round of sixteen directly. They finished in the top eight of the “league phase” of the new format – finishing in fourth spot.
Meanwhile, Feyenoord needed to win a playoff to reach the knockout rounds.
They overcame Inter’s city rivals AC Milan in a two-legged playoff in February.
Espern Eskas To Referee Feyenoord Vs Inter Milan First Leg – Dingert On VAR
The referee for Wednesday’s match will be Norwegian Espen Eskas.
Assisting Eskas in his duties will be his fellow Norwegians Jan Erik Engan and Isaak Elias Bashevkin.

The role of the fourth official, meanwhile, will fall to Sigurd Kringstad, another Norwegian.
In the VAR booth, German Christian Dingert will oversee the match to ensure to correct any errors by the on-pitch officials.
Assisting Dingert in his duties will be Portuguese official Tiago Martins.
Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch rather than refereeing controversy.
