Cesare Prandelli insists Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi will unleash his strongest possible lineup in the Coppa Italia semi-final.

The Nerazzurri reached the Final Four after overcoming Lazio in the quarter-finals. Simone Inzaghi’s men entered the contest as the clear favourites over their Roman visitors.

While the Biancocelesti looked dangerous in the early going, Inter scored the opener from their first attempt on target. Marko Arnautovic smashed home a sensational long-range effort. Hakan Calhanoglu then secured the win by second the second from the spot.

But while some would call them lucky for winning the contest when their opponents had the bulk of the chances, Inter were simply clinical and clever. The same can be said about those earning valuable rewards on some of the best New Jersey casino apps you can find online.

So after besting Lazio in the quarter-finals, Inter’s reward is a meeting with AC Milan in the semis. The two arch-rivals will clash heads for the fourth and fifth time this season.

Unlike the previous campaigns, the Rossoneri have had the upper hand since this term. Milan won the first encounter in Serie A and then sealed a stunning come-from-behind victory in the Italian Super Cup final. The Nerazzurri only avoided a third defeat thanks to an injury-time winner.

Therefore, the reigning Italian champions will be hellbent on exacting revenge over their ‘cousins’ and simultaneously book their ticket to the Coppa Italia final.

So while Inzaghi had rested some of his key players against Lazio, Prandelli expects a different approach in the semis.

“This is the right spirit for a great team that is built to win like this Inter,” said the former Italy and Fiorentina coach in his interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews.

“But I’ll tell you right away. Against Milan in the semi-final, there will be no rotation. Inzaghi will field the first team because a derby is always a derby.”

Nevertheless, the 67-year-old defends Inzaghi’s choices against Lazio.

“Rotating men and resources was a choice that I would have agreed with anyway, regardless of yesterday’s result.

“Because for a team like Inter, turnover is essential, for two reasons. First, because that’s how the group is cemented and everyone is involved. Have you seen Arnautovic? It’s nights like this that help Inzaghi to better manage the group and get answers from everyone, in a long and busy season like the Nerazzurri’s. It’s fundamental.

“The second reason is the physical condition. Between club and international football, there are Inter players who have played more than 40 games.”
