Samuel Eto’o only spent two years at Inter Milan, but it was enough to become a legend at Giuseppe Meazza.

Indeed, the former Cameroonian striker was part of the team that won the iconic treble under Jose Mourinho in 2010.

Furthermore, his contribution was immense.

Teamed up with Diego Milito, he inspired Inter’s famous Champions League triumph.

Despite not scoring in the grand final, he netted some crucial goals in the knockout stages.

His goal at Stamford Bridge sealed Chelsea’s fate in the Round of 16, helping Inter progress 3-1 on aggregate.

The Nerazzurri paid tribute to Eto’o by releasing a video on X, saying: “The goal that made us realize it was possible.”
