Inter Milan superstar Marcus Thuram broke his scoring duck in last night’s 2-0 Champions League victory at Feyenoord.
According to TWM, the Frenchman was ‘essential’ to Inter’s scintillating triumph in Rotterdam.
There was a question mark over Thuram’s head ahead of the kick-off.
Indeed, the 27-year-old has recently struggled with an ankle problem and could’ve started on the bench yesterday.
However, Simone Inzaghi took a leap of faith and paired him up with Lautaro Martinez in attack.
It proved a resounding success.
Marcus Thuram Crucial to Inter Milan Win vs Feyenoord
Despite establishing a foothold in the game, Inter couldn’t find a way past Feyenoord’s backline.
But Thuram provided a crucial breakthrough toward the end of the first half.

Indeed, the ex-Borussia Monchengladbach striker latched onto Nicolo Barella’s hopes and scored with a ‘karate’ finish.
Then, he drew a penalty at 2-0, only for Piotr Zielinski to fluff his lines from the spot.
Inzaghi took Thuram off in the 62nd minute as a precaution.
However, Mehdi Taremi did nothing noteworthy after coming off the bench.
