Wolves are ready to rival Inter Milan to try and sign Genoa defender Koni De Winter next summer transfer window.
This according to UK outlet TeamTalk. They report that the Wolverhampton side are preparing a bid worth £21 million, or around €25 million.
Young defender Koni De Winter has been enjoying an outstanding season for Genoa.
The Ligurian club signed the Belgian on a permanent basis last summer. He had previously been at the Marassi on loan from Juventus, having also had a loan spell at Empoli.
And this season has really seen De Winter become a mainstay of the Grifone defense. First under Alberto Gilardino, and then under Patrick Vieira.
Wolves Rival Inter Milan For Genoa Defender Koni De Winter
Naturally, De Winter’s form this season has attracted some transfer attention.
In January, reports indicate that AC Milan had already weighed up a bid for the Belgian in the event that Fikayo Tomori had left.

And TeamTalk confirm recent reports that Inter are targeting De Winter.
However, the UK outlet anticipate, the Nerazzurri will be far from the only suitors for the 22-year-old.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are currently fighting to stave off relegation from the Premier League.
In the event that the West Midlands club do so, however, they will certainly be looking to reinforce with new signings in the summer. And defense would be a priority area.
According to TeamTalk, Genoa defender Koni De Winter would be one of the main targets for Wolves.

Verona Coppola is better for middle CB. Coppola great at tight marking, reading enemy attacking, tall physical body. He is a beast, a young Acerbi. Better than Comuzzo, but cheaper. 4 years in seria A, make him ready to play for this Inter team.
I don’t understand. If Juventus or Milan interested with him. Why Inter never saw interested?
Koni De Winter is good. But he is more suitable as right CB. He rarely tight marking attacker, just like Pavard.
he’s bad at passing.
I never seen his match. Just show from youtube preview. There is rarely passing show, so i can not judge accurately. But from my priview, his passing is good. Anyways passing is not important skill for middle CB. Reading attacking other team, coordination, tight marking their no 9 is the most important.
When i saw preview our others target. Like Bijol, Buekema, De Winter, Jomah Tah, Hien. They didn’t convice me.
