Marcus Thuram feels that Bayern Munich will be “beatable” for Inter Milan in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
The 27-year-old spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, after Inter’s round of sixteen second leg win over Feyenoord this evening.
Inter Milan already know who they’ll be facing in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
The Nerazzurri will face Bayern Munich in the next round of the competition.
Inter won both legs of their round of sixteen tie against Feyenoord. And Bayern did the same in their own two-legged knock tie against domestic rivals Bayer Leverkusen.
That sets up a meeting between two of Europe’s most decorated clubs in the last eight of the continent’s biggest club competition.
Thuram: “Bayern Munich Beatable” For Inter Milan In Champions League
Bayern will certainly be one of the most formidable opponents that Inter Milan face this season.
But asked whether he thinks the German league leaders are beatable, Nerazzurri striker Marcus Thuram replied that “I think all teams are beatable.”

Thuram called Bayern “a great team.”
“It will be a difficult tie. But we’ll see.”
Meanwhile, Thuram gave his thoughts on Inter’s Treble ambitions. “It’s not a question of believing or not believing in it,” argued the France international.
“If you’re at Inter, you play to win every match. And then at the end of the season, good things happen.”
Thuram also provided an updated on his fitness. “My ankle’s been bothering me for a month,” he admitted.
“I’m trying to play on it though,” continued the Frenchman.
“Sometimes it hurts a bit more, sometimes it’s better. But it’s true that I’m not at a hundred percent yet.”
And Thuram also gave his thoughts after Inter’s win over Feyenoord this evening. “We played a great match, we won, and we’re in the quarterfinals,” he beamed.
“It’s a great thing,” added the 27-year-old Inter striker.
