Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Benjamin Pavard and Carlos Augusto against Atalanta. This evening’s Serie A matchday 29 clash kicks off at 20.45 CET.
Inter Milan take on Atalanta in a Serie A title six-pointer this evening. With only three points separating the sides ahead of the kick-off, there’s little margin for error.
However, the Nerazzurri head into proceedings in a buoyant mood after reaching the Champions League quarter-finals
Moreover, the reigning champions pulled off a stunning comeback last weekend to beat Monza 3-2 at home.
As if that’s not encouraging enough, Inter humbled Atalanta 4-0 in September’s reverse fixture.
Therefore, Inzaghi’s team will take the field brimming with confidence.
Benjamin Pavard Gets The Nod In Defense

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has made just a couple of changes to the team that beat Feyenoord 2-1 in midweek.
Josep Martinez surrenders his place in goal, therefore. However, Yann Sommer is back between the sticks. Then, in defense it is the same back three that started against Feyenoord.
Therefore, Benjamin Pavard, Alessandro Bastoni, and Francesco Acerbi all start. On the other hand, Stefan de Vrij is out with a knee injury.
Meanwhile, the wingback pairing of Denzel Dumfries and the recently recovered Carlos Augusto also starts once again. That is partly the result of an injury crisis.
All of Matteo Darmian, Nicola Zalewski, and Federico Dimarco are unavailable.
In midfield, though, there is one change. Subsequently, Nicolo Barella returns to the starting XI at the expense of Davide Frattesi.
As such, he joins forces with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Hakan Calhanoglu. Lastly, a notable change comes in attack.
Therefore, Lautaro Martinez returns to the starting lineup – replacing Mehdi Taremi alongside Marcus Thuram.

I couldn’t watch the game today but I checked the score every five minutes. What a win!!!!!!! Excellent job done especially Napoli draw again!!!
Credit when its due the players approached the match really well. Inter didn’t give away anything to them and it’s against a side that knows how to score goals. Barella was making some silly errors in the first half then in the second half he turned into a complete BEAST in midfield.
Precious win. Forza Inter!
The most important win of the season and it was thanks to edersons stupid mistake wow.
Ref was absolute trash!!!!! So glad we won
What do you mean thanks to Ederson? Inter was winning before Ederson got sent off and Atalanta wasn’t close to scoring.
No need to find a logic from that statement
*fu ref!! eat that Cunte!!
Finally, just what we needed, except for that dumb red card on Bastoni
Actually i will do it, coz he will suspended also in the next game. Considering the score line and 10 man opponents, I will take the red. Especially there is busy schedule in bastoni book
Hein a good defender if we get him this summer, it would be a great buy.
Badly bad referee. Everyone know Massa has personal problem with Inter.
Bastoni should have been careful. He was on a yellow and we had already won the game.
True esp since inter will face Bologna soon.
We have Udinese, Parma and Cagliari before Bologna, so Bastoni should be available at that point.
this ref was a clown
We could and should have scored more; this was a very convincing and easy win. Inzaghi really knows how to play Gasperini.
inter milan should prevent all players from playing during the International break this upcoming weeks
Sempreinter should prevent you from commenting
11-12 minutes stoppage time WOW!
We’re winning, you can stop crying now.
You lost Bastoni since you did support the extra unnecessary 12 minutes
I lost Bastoni? Inter lost Bastoni… if you were an actual Inter fan, you would’ve said we lost Bastoni. Thanks for revealing your true colors, dumbass.
Fratesi is very weak. You can sell it. #VoltaDisqus
I was waiting for someone to say this. I support that he should be let go of he insists on leaving
tbh i am really surprised by 2:0 win against this lethal atalanta.
Why? Inter hasn’t lost against Atalanta since 2018.
We always spanking these guys
Typical Inter to beat rivals when it counts
Thank you Ederson. Much appreciated, man.
BALL GAME!!!
this is a fight for a real nerazzurri and a fake noname nerazzurri lol
finally some great refereeing in our favor
Should NOT have been a red card
Clear decent is an automatic yellow card. Rules are rules bro
How is that not a red card? Complains to the ref, gets his first yellow. And then proceeds to applaud to the ref right in his face for the second yellow. We’ve seen this a million times…
If that was an inter player he would be saying the player was stupid.
yes deserved red, complaining for a clear dive.
That was a joke of a call.
Lautaro against Djimsiti and the Italian journalists keep saying gem city LOL
Dumfries got injured?!
I don’t know but he got kicked, he walked out fine, hopefully it’s nothing
Just saw the replay and Arnautovic knew immediately it was going to be a goal as Hakan hit that corner
Are they
Marcus Thuram is upset cause he didn’t score and Carlos did and also upset cause his brother and jive lost. We all Know Lilian Thuram and both of his kids are die hard Juven fans
Hahaha, good joke
Carloooooooos Augusto!
Augustoooooooo!!!!!!!! goooaaalll!!!!!! Get In!!!!
Carlos
what happened there in the crowds? hopefully he/she is okay
I guess they will postpone the match so inter can play with congested schedule and lose. SERIE A are trying their best to have inter lose
All comments are now live = so no need to update the page
Next season we will have coaches like gasperini, conte plus two of allegri, Mancini and sarri competing for the title (all of these are top 4 league spot coaches) so we have to do what it takes to win the league this season it’s in our own hands.
That Thuram one on one miss can be league title costly…. We cannot miss those chances!!!
We are not playing good today the players are making so many silly mistakes and not moving the ball effectively, we need to capitalize on Napoli not winning today
Juve is trying to get Klopp if they fail, they will get Mancini who will win with them.
Tight first half, with very little between the two sides, but cannot get that Thuram chance out of my head…. those simply HAVE to go in, in games like this!!! Time for Inzaghi to do his thing….
Fiorentina 3- Juve 0 = Klopp or Mancini is the new manager
Bologna 5- Lazio 0 = inter will either lose or draw with Bologna
Ac milan 2- Como 1 = Allegri to Milan
What are we supposed to do with this useless information?
wish someone would tell these refs about Marotta league… we’ve been getting nothing all season!!!
So body checks are legal now?
Why is Barella running with the ball and losing every damn time
Barella playing with his food, clear the damn ball
Great save Sommer!!!
You talk about winning a treble, while you fail to score so many sitters.
who said will win the treble? Any inter player who says that is pure low IQ
See previous articles on this site. Some within the team and the club seem to believe we can win the treble.
Why is that impossiblenif I may ask?
It is possible if we play well, but if we keep missing sitters, it is impossible.
even i could score that… wtf thuram
Smh we have to score those. So close ♂️
Those are the chances we need to score… ffs
How did that not go in?!?!? FFS!!!!
Thuraaaaaaaaam
To soon junior
I may have lost my memory but I thought the hose usually respect the opponents by letting them wear their first kit (Jersey) why inter are not wearing Blue and Black yet they are playing at Atalanta?!
2 last Atalanta matches as host finished 0:0, but 3 last matches as guests won 5:0, 5:0 and 4:0. So we expect 0:0 or disaster.
I want another 4-0 win tonight. A brace for each of Lautaro&Thuram. 2 assists Asllani and 2 Frattesi. xD
It won’t happen
I know, I was kidding.
Napoli have won only 1 of the last 5 games. There are no excuses; Inter are a better team and should win the Scudetto. A win tonight is a must.
I will take a draw in this game. It’s very good for us that Napoli didn’t win, we have to take advantage of that!!!
Also, this comment section is a graveyard to what it used to be, very sad. The season is almost over and still no change here smh
Another chance to open up a gap, although Atalanta scare me at the moment, despite our records against them… let’s hope we have the psychological edge, and they’re defeated before a ball is kicked!! MASSIVE just doesn’t do this game justice… C’mon boys!!! let’s goooooo!!!!!
wish someone would tell these refs about Marotta league… we’ve been getting nothing all season!!!
lets go boys!
