Inter Milan target Nico Paz is set to stay one more year at Como after the club agreed with Real Madrid to extend the loan of the player for another season.
This according to Sky Sport Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio as reported via FcInterNews. Di Marzio stated that Real Madrid will not exercise their option to buy Nico Paz this summer.
Nico Paz signed a four year deal with Como in August 2024 for a reported fee of €6 million. However, Real Madrid have reportedly a buy-back clause.
Di Marzio reported recently that Como and Real Madrid had opened talks over Nico Paz.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti also confirmed recently that the club were monitoring the youngster’s progress.
Real Madrid & Como Agree To Extend Loan Of Nico Paz

Now Di Marzio reports, that these talks have ended with an agreement found over the future of Nico Paz.
The Argentinian midfielder will stay at Como for another season to continue his development under Cesc Fabregas.
Real Madrid still maintain an option to buy the player back in the summer of 2026. Inter Milan are heavily linked with the former Real Madrid youth team player.
However, now these links will cool down. That is, unless Inter Milan President can find the funds to convince Real Madrid and Como to part ways with the youngster.
Therefore, it comes at no surprise that Inter Milan have been linked with Real Madrid youngster Arda Güler. A rumor which suggests that Inter have moved on from Nico Paz.
The 20 year old Argentinian midfielder has been a revelation this season in the Serie A. He has featured 27 times in the Serie A this season scoring six goals in the process.
I was under the impression he was purchased and Real had a buy back clause….so what has a loan got to do with it.
I’m sure half the time these things go through about 3 translations and are not fact checked either.
This transfer was impossible to happen since the beginning, it was so easy to see.
