Inter Milan superstar Marcus Thuram has left the France national team to return to Italy due to a niggling ankle injury.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 27-year-old has had to withdraw from Les Bleus’ camp to work on his recovery.

Thuram’s injury isn’t serious and doesn’t raise concerns among the Nerazzurri hierarchy.
Meanwhile, Lautaro Martinez and Denzel Dumfries have also left their national teams to accelerate their recoveries from minor fitness problems.
Therefore, head coach Simone Inzaghi has plenty on his plate ahead of upcoming domestic challenges.
Indeed, Inter will face Udinese in their next Serie A fixture.
On the other hand, they’ll trade tackles with arch-rivals AC Milan.
This mouth-watering the Coppa Italia semi-final tie comes at the beginning of April.
