Inter Milan stars Lautaro Martinez and Denzel Dumfries will skip Sunday’s home clash against Udinese in Serie A.

According to Sky Sport Italia via FCInter1908, both players underwent detailed medical checks today.

Indeed, test results showed a muscle strain in Lautaro Martinez’s hamstring.

Therefore, El Toro will be unavailable this weekend but could return to the squad for the Coppa Italia game against AC Milan.

Meanwhile, Simone Inzaghi will be without Dumfries for the next three matches in all competitions.

Unlike Lautaro, Dumfries will be out for upcoming league games against Udinese and Parma.

Furthermore, he’ll miss the first leg of Inter’s cup tie against the Rossoneri due to a thigh problem.

However, Inzaghi could have the Dutchman at his disposal for the Champions League showdown against Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, he’ll rely on Matteo Darmian to cover for the 28-year-old’s absence.

Indeed, the Italian veteran is back from injury.

The same goes for Federico Dimarco and Nicola Zalewski. Both players will be in contention for the matchday squad this weekend.
