Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is hoping for a “miracle” recovery for Bayern Munich to face Inter Milan.
This according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They also report that former Napoli and Fenerbahce defender Kim Min-Jae will be fit for the Champions League quarterfinal tie.
Bayern Munich have been dealt a couple of devastating injury blows over the international break.
The likes of Alphonso Davies and Dayot Upamecano both picked up knee injuries. Both will be out for several months.
This leaves Bayern without two of the regular stalwarts of their usual starting defense.
Manuel Neuer Hopes For “Miracle” Recovery For Bayern Munich Vs Inter – Kim Back
And the other news for Bayern may not be much better.
First of all, there is doubt about the availability of veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

The 38-year-old is still recovering from injury. And according to the Gazzetta, it may require a “miracle” for Neuer to recover in time for Bayern’s Champions League quarterfinal tie against Inter.
On the other hand, there is a piece of positive news.
Defender Kim Min-Jae will be back for the tie against the Nerazzurri.
The South Korean has been dealing with a persistent Achilles tendon problem throughout the season so far. However, he is ready to make his return to face Inter.
Therefore, Bayern’s likely back four would consist of Kim, Eric Dier, Konrad Laimer, and Hiroki Ito. Then, Raphael Guerreiro has the versatility to cover in either fullback position.
Beyond that, the Bavarians would be very short on options indeed.
