Roma are ready to rival Inter Milan in the race to sign Como midfielder Nico Paz and Lecce striker Nikola Krstovivc.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Roma are considering a future beyond Paulo Dybala.
The Argentine former Juventus and Palermo forward has been a talismanic figure for the Giallorossi since his arrival in 2022.
However, persistent injuries have always been a problem for Dybala. And the Argentine has undergone surgery on a thigh injury, which will rule him out for the rest of the season.
Beyond the end of the campaign, Roma hardly feel that they can rely on Dybala.

Therefore, Roma are targeting a big signing that can fill the void that Dybala’s frequent injury.
And according to the Gazzetta, the capital club are eyeing up one particularly ambitious target.

Como midfielder Nico Paz is certainly a player who has made a splash in Serie A this season.
That has made the 20-year-old a major transfer target for Inter Milan. And Real Madrid also retain control over Paz’s future.
Nevertheless, reports the Gazzetta, Roma are eyeing up a surprise move for Paz.
Then, the newspaper add, Lecce striker Nikola Krostovic is another notable attacking player on the Giallorossi’s radar.
The Lecce striker is also a target for Inter as they look to reinvigorate their attack.
