Midfielder Davide Frattesi could get the chance to start for Inter Milan in today’s Serie A return to action against Udinese.

Inter Milan return to action from international break against Udinese this evening.

And Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi will naturally have squad rotation on his mind for the Serie A clash.

Inzaghi will certainly not put out a “weakened” team. Taking three points remains a vital objective for the Serie A title race.

But at the same time, there is a punishing run of matches to come. Including two-legged knockout ties against AC Milan and Bayern Munich.

Davide Frattesi Could Start For Inter Milan Vs Udinese

One player who could start this evening, reports the Gazzetta, is midfielder Davide Frattesi.

The newspaper report that Inzaghi is considering keeping Nicolo Barella on the bench. The 28-year-old is certainly a player who the Inter coach will want to keep fresh for upcoming matches.

Therefore, Frattesi could be the player who completes the midfield trio alongside Henrikh Mkihitaryan and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Frattesi has hardly been a fixture of Inter’s starting eleven this season.

Therefore, there is a strong sense that the 25-year-old’s departure is inevitable during the summer.

However, Frattesi has certainly had his opportunities as well. His standout performance of the campaign came in the reverse fixture against Udinese in September.

And according to the Gazzetta, the former Sassuolo midfielder could get yet another chance to impress this evening.
