Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Marko Arnautovic in attack against Udinese. This evening’s Serie A matchday 31 clash kicks off at 18.00 CET.
Inter Milan return to action in Serie A this evening against Udinese.
The Nerazzurri will be aiming to consolidate their advantage at the top of the league table with three points after their statement win over Atalanta before the international break.

Meanwhile, Udinese will feel that they have a chance to get a statement result of their own at the San Siro.
Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi will certainly see getting three points as an important priority. However, the Nerazzurri will have to balance this match with the rest of their fixture list.
In April alone, Inter will have eight more matches, between Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the Champions League.
Therefore, Inzaghi has named a team that looks fairly strong – but also rotated in a few positions.
Marko Arnautovic Gets The Nod In Attack

In goal, firstly, Yann Sommer starts for Inter Milan.
Then, in front of the Swiss the likes of Benjamin Pavard, Francesco Acerbi, and Carlos Augusto all start.
Alessandro Bastoni, meanwhile, misses out through suspension.
Then, in midfield it is the trio of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Davide Frattesi.
On the left flank, Federico Dimarco returns after missing a few matches before the break with a thigh problem.
However, Denzel Dumfries is absent with a muscle injury of his own. Therefore, Matteo Darmian starts at right-wingback.
Lastly, in attack, Marko Arnautovic is the notable name on the teamsheet. The Austrian partners Marcus Thuram.
In conclusion, Inzaghi has opted for Arnautovic over Joaquin Correa, with Lautaro Martinez and Mehdi Taremi absent.

No help from cousins. Already 2:0 for Napoli. :@
I hope they get relegated to serie B. Of course for Coppa Italia somehow they will beat inter, I wish them ill
I thought they would stop Napoli, but hey, they are a mid-table team.
Teremi got injured before this game in training.
da f* was that ending. though a good reminder to stay humble. we have established beyond doubt that Correa sucks as a striker.. we need to play him as an amf.. after scoring two for Iran, taremi should have come in today. but anyway. 3 points.. I’ll take it
Comment section is all bad, having me reply to older comments.
Either way, great first half and bad second half, I’m just glad we got the win. Definitely need to work on their mentality in the last minutes.
Trust inzaghi to turn a game where your reserves are gaining form and confidence into a sh*t show that you nearly throw away and blow all that confidence.
Plus gets himself sent off – moron!!
At least if he’s not there he can’t make dumb subs right?!
Now we need a favour from the southern curve – doubt it lol
I seriously doubt any manager could make you happy
Napoli have lost steam in recent months. Selling Kvara did not do them any good. I predict Milan will stop them tonight. Unless Inzaghi does something crazy, the Scudetto is ours.
Pazza inter, cannot stand a chance against B. Munich like this.
BM themselves are a shaky team, and have some key injuried players. I guess Inzaghi will not bring in Asllani for Hakan, so we have our chances vs BM. They are clearly stronger on paper, but we should play our game.
Poor Davide… Like i said to you before.. The most negative person out there… But have you seen Bayern with Bochum and St Pauli?
I’m sold…Solet needs to be in our squad next season.
solet looked better than lukka, who we seem to be interested in.
Barella wth are you doing
Sommer easily man of the match.
Great first half… Sloppy second half, but we’ve managed to get 3 valuable points without Bastoni, Dumfries or Lautaro, so I’ll take it!!
Let’s hope that Milan do us a favour tonight, and exhaust themselves for the Coppa at the same time!!
yep, sweet 3 points is 3 points. I have no issue, just saying sommer has a really great second half, we can easily down 2-3 if he didnt save those crucial shots. One free header by Lucca, and the close shot by Solet. Those were mean to go in.
Sommer was great, and Solet really impressed me… would be happy to sign him!
Solet is actually good. I think its better to get him instead of Bijor
Agreed, he would fit our style of play really well.
Hope Marotta reads your comment.
What was mIkhi doing he failed to actually shoot and then tries something stupid that can risk him getting a red
Whatever happens, this game should not be in the balance….
The so called genius in charge consistently does this,
Asllani and Bisseck are not good enough.
And taking off all your attacking options (bar Thuram) makes no sense.
We have lost all shape, we look like we are the minnow hanging on for an unexpected win.
The coach has so many fans – but his subs are always abysmal and terribly timed.
Yes he has many fans because no manager is perfect and if subs is all we have to complain about, most of us understand that is only one part of being a manager and we see he does the rest great. Like tactics, style of play, No drama, never throws players under the bus, always defends our players in the press, never causes drama off the pitch and winning trophies.
Thats why he has many fans. Nobody thinks he’s perfect
We’re in 3 competitions and need to rotate the squad. What do you expect him to do?
We have Coppa Italia in the middle of the week and we play Bayern Munich soon. We have Napoli chasing after us in the league. You can’t just play the starting eleven all 90 minutes of every game with a packed schedule. Subs must be made and those are the only player available. Is that so hard to understand for you guys who are constantly criticizing the guy in charge of Inter’s most successful period post treble?
Nobody is saying he’s a bad manager – but games like this is why he’s not as good as you all say.
We all knew it was too early to make those changes.
We all know and say every week, don’t take off hakan for asllani unless the game is done.
He is also told time and time again to stay in his box and gets himself sent off for doing it twice in a weekend where it’s all in the news and he’s in the spotlight..
The point is – if he didn’t make stupid subs we’d all have less heart attacks and he’d be a genuine legend.
Hakan has had multiple injury setbacks this year… you really think it’s a good idea to play him for 90 mins? Inzaghi is making these subs with the idea in mind that we’re competing on all fronts and need our squad healthy. We cannot steamroll our way through every game with our starters never resting
You constantly say he’s a bad manager… every week, without fail!!
The only thing more clockwork than Inzaghis substitutions, are your second half rants about our trophy winning coach! Frankly, you’re embarrassing yourself! Out of curiosity, who do you think would do a better job, under the same financial restrictions that Inzaghi has had to work under?
Paulo u need to calm down. Inzaghi can only substitute what he has on the bench. if he has donkeys there, that’s all he can bring on. we can’t expect all our 1st 11 to play every single minute of every single match in three tournaments. u need to blame someone? blame the management, as they have filled the bench with mediocre players. that being said, I do agree sometimes he can have brain fart moments, but also sometimes these puzzling subs click.
Wtf is Bissek doing?
His standard poor performance
Overhyped
ye, probably previous a few good games for him gave him some false confidence….. Really sloppy play, almost let Lucca free header for a goal.
Inzaghi underestimated Udinese, making substitutions too early that didn’t add anything. Not to mention, the team stopped playing. Let’s hope we don’t get caught for that. If they adopt this attitude against Bayern, the match will already be decided in Munich.
You don’t make this many changes within 20 mins. Hakan should have played for 80 mins for balance.
Our b team was dominating they should have all played until the 65-70 min at least.
Told you…
These are exactly the reasons why I question inzaghi.
Inzaghi always disrupts our football with a hosts of useless subs.
yea we’re def signing this guy lol that was heat
Not sure I like bringing on bisseck and asllani when the game is more even than it’s been – they only need one back and you’ve taken off all bar 1 scoring threat.
Bisseck has just given the ball away twice since coming on. He isn’t it!
I hope we can see some of the primavera in the second half, And Correa in for Mhiki. I really liked what I saw when Correa came in the other day as AMF.
Good first half. Now don’t be too relaxed and keep this result.
Now if only Milan could at least draw Napoli tonight..
ac bilan would rather get relegated than helping inter. I hope they lose.
Need more goals and Pilan to raise their game and take something from Napoli
Two similar goals , nice play looks like stress free game i was woried lol
Man we are destroying Udinese
Frattesi was gonna score. It was just a matter of when. He adds midfield more when it comes to scoring goals than others in that position
yepp.!
guys what about keeping frattesi and plays for mikii?
Frattesi!!! goooaaalll!!!!! that’s how you do it!!! DiMarco back, and with 2 assists already!!! FORZA INTER!!!!!
Arnautovic showing Frattesi how to score those goals.
Arnautovic!!!! What a Goal!!!! Inters attacking football at its best!!!
That was a really bad second half, especially with how amazing they played on the first.
I felt once the subs came the mentality went down.
That was a great counter attack
How has Frattesi missed that??????
I want to see at some point try to play Asllani and Cahla together to see if playing Asllani can give Cahlanoglu a bit more freedom.
Forza Inter.
Well, Fiorentina have already done us a huge favour today! It would be nice if Milan could actually raise their game against someone other than us, and take some points off Napoli tonight!
First things first though, we need to get the job done ourselves, and give Udinese a good beating! Great to see DiMarco back, and hopeful we can get through this match without having to call on Barella….. personally, I’d love to see a little more of Berenbruch… Lets go boys!!! FORZA INTER!!!
Not the strongest starting, but every player have to show their contribution.
Forza Inter.
Btw, FIO 1-0 ATA. If Napoli lost to Milan, it would be perfect.
