Inter Milan are already laying the groundwork to try and sign Marseille winger Luis Henrique and Familicao attacking midfielder Gustavo Sa.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

On the pitch, Inter Milan are right in the thick of the decisive part of their season.

The Nerazzurri are playing twice per week for the foreseeable future. They are still alive in three different competitions.

Inter are still aiming to defender their Serie A title, where they have a slender lead over Napoli. And in the Champions League and Coppa Italia, Inter hope to go all the way.

Therefore, around the team, the focus is very much on the task at hand.

However, as Tuttosport notes, behind the scenes, Inter still have one eye on the transfer market. The Nerazzurri’s senior management know they can’t dawdle in their squad planning.

According to Tuttosport, there are a couple of deals that Inter Milan are trying to advance on.

Firstly, there is Marseille winger Luis Henrique.

Tuttosport confirm the widespread reports that the Brazilian is very much on the Nerazzurri’s radar. They want to bring him in as a backup to Denzel Dumfries at wingback.

Marseille want as much as €35 million for Henrique.

That is considerably higher than Inter have been willing to go thus far. However, the two clubs are in talks, and the Nerazzurri are aiming to arrive at a solution before the summer window opens.

Similarly, Inter are also already in talks to try and sign Familicao attacking midfielder Gustavo Sa.

Sa is just twenty years of age. But Inter see him as a player for the future, and very much within the remit of owners Oaktree Capital’s insistence on lowering the squad age.
