Inter Milan are planning to trigger an option to sign wingback Nicola Zalewski on a permanent basis from Roma this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri will pay €6 million to make the 23-year-old’s deal permanent.
Inter Milan signed wingback Nicola Zalewski from Roma during the January transfer window.
The Polish international is the player the Nerazzurri brought in to take the place of Tajon Buchanan. Buchanan joined Villarreal on loan after failing to nail down a place for himself.
Inter Milan To Sign Nicola Zalewski Permanently From Roma

Nicola Zalewski is currently only at Inter Milan on loan from Roma.
However, the loan deal includes an option for the Nerazzurri to sign Zalewski outright at the end of the season.
Inter can do so by paying the GIallorossi a fee of €6 million.
And Inter believe that Zalewski has a role to play in the squad. Even if that is a rotation or backup player.
The 23-year-old has yet to make a start for Inter. He could, however, make his full debut against Parma tomorrow.
And in training, Zalewski has already won the trust of Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.
Therefore, Inter’s plan is to make Zalewski a part of their project by signing him permanently.
