Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Lautaro Martinez in attack against Parma. This evening’s Serie A matchday 31 clash kicks off at 18.00 CET.
This evening, Inter Milan take on Parma in Serie A.
The Nerazzurri now see the end at the light of the tunnel – they have eight more matches to go in the league including this evening’s.
However, that is only ratcheting up the pressure, as Inter feel Napoli breathing down their necks at the top of the table.
Therefore, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to name a very strong starting eleven.
Lautaro Martinez Straight Back Into The Starting XI

Firstly, the big news on the team sheet is the return of Lautaro Martinez.
The Inter captain has returned from injury, and moreover comes right back into the starting eleven, therefore.
Starting alongside the captain, meanwhile, is Marcus Thuram.
Then, in goal Yann Sommer returns to the lineup after Josep Martinez had started against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia.
In defense, meanwhile, it is the trio of Yann Bisseck, Francesco Acerbi, and Alessandro Bastoni.
On the left flank, meanwhile, Federico Dimarco returns to the starting lineup after not featuring against Milan in midweek. Then, at right-wingback, Matteo Darmian keeps his spot.
Lastly, in midfield, Hakan Calhanoglu moves into a box-to-box midfield role. Terefore, Kristjan Asllani and Henrikh Mkhitaryan complete the trio.
Nicolo Barella misses the match through suspension, meanwhile. Then, Piotr Zielinski, Denzel Dumfries, and Mehdi Taremi are absent through suspension.

As soon as this season ends the first to be fired should be our fitness coach. And the first to be hired should be a psychologist, since it is obvious that our players have some mentality issues.
Another problem is a bench, well not whole bench. We have some good players on the bench that can be usefull, such as: Pavard, De Vrij, Zalewski, Zielinski. But we also have half-reliable players and totally unreliable players. In a half-reliable group there are: Darmian, Fratessi and Arna. If you know when and how to use those guys they can turn out to be reliable, but if you missuse them, they become a burden to the rest of the team, so the regular players have to put double efforts to compensate for their bad play.
And there is also a group of tottaly unreliable players who make no differnce. In this group there are: Correa (new word should be invented just to describe how bad and useless he is), Taremi (have no idea how and why we signed him) and Asllani (our worst signing in the past 5 years, worse player than Gagliardini).
If Inter management actually review matches then they’ll realise that some players are just not ready and to keep using the same tactics then it’ll only go downhill. Bisseck shouldn’t play 90 mins the guy is not a proper defender yet… Use him in several moments like when inter need a goal after that take him out because then he becomes a liability and he should NEVER lasts for 90 minutes
I think Inter is the faovorite for Scudetto. We are on the wheel and we will decide. About Bayern and Barca . we beat these 2 teams in 2010 when they were very strong. So I think Real-Inter final loading.
Less worry guys Bologna will do us a favour a beat Napoli
Very bad game by us in the second half. You simple cannot throw away a 2-0 lead as a top team, and to be honest we almost lost.
Every single time we go far in ucl we lose the league, remember Liverpool game and ucl final?
We only won the league once with Inzaghi and that was when we got knocked out in R16.
We should focus on the league in my opinion since it’s in our hands but we are about to lose the league and get knocked out of ucl if we don’t act right.
No more silly rotations we need the play the best 11. I’ve said many times inzaghis major squad shuffles and rotations will cost us, yes players get tired and fatigued and injured but you always play your best players as much as you can.
Scudetto hope is slimming, we still have bologna, roma and lazio on the way while napoli only have bologna. We have just gifted them unexpected boost at the right time, If they can beat bologna, they will surely win the scudetto. Last week we were lucky to grab 3 points against udinese, still lucky enough with a point against parma but don’t expect any against roma, lazio or bologna if we still play sh#tty like this.
Napoli will win the scuedetto and inter will be trophyless then Conte will go to milan
wtf cares about cunt e…
Chivu is a better manager than inter milan
clueless match,
cant imagine facing gnabry, leroy sane, kane with this kind of performance
Terrible! A game that highlights all the issues at the club!
The mentality is completely wrong, and that has to come from management! We just stop playing when we go 2 goals up, again, and again, and again…
Our squad is simply too old to sustain 90 minutes of high intensity football… Great servants, but Acerbi, Darmian, Miki… too many players on the wrong side of 30….
Our depth is a complete myth…. outside of our starting 11- some of whom are too old- we have nothing, especially in attack!
I still hope and pray that we will win at least the Scudetto this season, but it will be by limping over the line if we do!! A major overhaul is needed in the Summer, or Oaktree will soon realise that the value of a club plummets if you don’t invest!!
I really doubt they will make serious investment. Yes, new players will come, but I bet they will be young talents who have not been proven yet in high levels.
Thank you very much for birthday wishes, Inter fan.
🙂
That midfield that ended the match just show how bare bone Inter are in that area. Again Bisseck is poor in crucial moments but a draw was coming the moment Inter conceded the first goal. Sub players are just not that good and the tactic of letting opposition have the ball and just defend deep ain’t going to work if you have your B team.
I don’t believe this team will get past Bayern, no. And look, they also have their problems with absences. Regarding the game, we deserved to lose. Napoli is back in the championship and we threw two points away.
Even if we win vs BM, we will be easily defeated by Barca in the semi-finals. Even a humiliation can’t be ruled out.
They think they will win against B Munich LOL This season they will be with zero trophy.
No gift for me and Inzaghi.
i told you. asllani lets us down
marotta made it clear.. winning serie a is worth 90mil. 10 games in UCL worth 100mils.
who said they can win any trophy this season?
and if they do you shave your head? stop being a plastic fan. we support inter regardless!! we do not have a team to be competitive in three tournaments, especially as we have lost big players and not had any replacements for 3 yrs now. we are overachieving. our starting team is the oldest in serie a and the UCL, what do u expect.
Last season there was a fake “Nicolo Barella” here in the comment section, and he disappeared when we win the 20th. This season, he transformed into a fake “Davide (Frattesi?)”. No worry, he will disappears again end of this season 🙂
Bye bye Scudetto. We don’t deserve it. We are weak against top teams.
Still in first place. No guarantees Napoli will beat Bologna either
Well Parma should deserve the win, and this squad is just clueless to play. But well, still may have 1 point lead no matter what, not end of the world but just corner self down to a 0 error tolerance place. Bigger pressure ahead, lol.
I’m done with inzaghi honestly. Wtf was that midfield.
I’m done with Asllani, Fratessi, Correa, Arna. It’s like living again in Lord Gagliardini era
the main challenge this season is not the opponent good or not. it is the tiredness. hope they can hold on
oh well.. on the bright side… this year’s serie a is going to go down to the wire.
On what planet is that not a free kick?
Like seriously , Arna has been very decent as a sub for a season and a half now and we ar well resting him i guess i just dont know why he isnt our first choice striker sub especialy now Taremi is out
Trash team they think they will win the Scudetto Chivu an inter player and now a manager of Param taught them a lesson
Still in first place buddy
not really cause who said Napoli will lose against Bologne?
If they win, still second place, math problem?
even if napoli won 1000-1 against bologna, Inter is still first place, maybe check the fact first before blabbering?
Just because you stink, don’t call Inter trash.
Go stink somewhere else
stupid fans trash team what..?moron…
Honestly , what position is Correa suposed to be playing? And how come he has been a regular sub lately, for example playing before Arna today, when he is out of the club in a few months? I cant realy understand what is our coach thinking lately
Trequarista
Well i guess thats the idea behind it , but that throws team off balance i think, we been playing with 2 pure strikers for years now and i dont know why we experimenting with a player on his way out in a crucial time of the season.. idk just my opinion
Seriously f**king Bisseck just jogs alongside people….
I dont know how he can perform less energy than the 37 years old Acerbi.
Well…. Napoli have a lot of games against relegation battlers, which have been the games that they have struggled in the most…
Yeah I looked at the run ins and though there’s was easier on paper BUT you might be right, teams near the bottom fighting for their lives are always tough unusual games
One things for sure if we continue to perform how we have – it’s Napoli’s
Whoever wins, it will be with a whimper, rather than a bang!!! strange season, but the squad has been allowed to stagnate….
Agreed. Especially after Kvara left, Napoli’s game quality has gone down a lot. It seems that Kvara’s speed and dribbling helped create space in highly defensive bottom table teams.
Parma 3 inter 2. They deserve it.
Clueless on offense.
Napoli will win the scudetto almost 99.9%
Bet you’re fun at party’s….
He is not an Inter fan. He just makes comments for attention.
in old comments section we were able to block certain individuals.
You are aware Inter are still ahead and Napoli are not going to win all of their remaining matches. Inter are suffering injuries to key areas and still top with a lot to play for unlike Napoli who can actually also drop points in their next match
We’d all better get some Bolognese for our dinner on Monday, and pray for a result….
Bologna will almost certainly stop Napoli. It is a pity that Inter did not take advantage to grow the points gap.
Let’s hope so…. after a second half like this, a 4 point lead would be a Godsend….
Napoli will win save these words
said Juve’s fan.
Ffs Bisseck, he just gets worse and worse
It was a free header for Bissek…. Comon, stop playing sloppy. Show some energy!!!
Now with no players who can score I don’t Inter can win the match
World class cross by Mkhi.. World class..
and all media and some inter fans are believing in treble LOL. B Munich with so many injuries still won 3-1 yesterday meanwhile inter cannot even win LOL. No wonder ac bilan almost won the coppa Italia’s match.
I’m so done with Inzaghi’s s7up1dity.
It’s like reviving Gagliardini era, now with Asllani, Correa and Fratessi…
Yes I understand we play against Bayern in 3 days
Parma had Inter against the ropes throughout the second half, but they’re retreating after they tied the game. I’m sure that if they kept going at us as they were they could probably score another goal.
bisseck playing in 2g connection
I’m so done with Inzaghi’s stupidity.
It’s like reviving Gagliardini era, now with Asllani, Correa and Fratessi…
Yes I understand we play against Bayern in 3 days
Inzagui pulled the team back as usual. The game was under control, but as always he loves to invent things. If we don’t win this game, we’ll bring Napoli back into the championship.
Not Inzagui, his assistant. But it’s as if it were him, lol
He’s still making the decisions – technology bro.
why Inzaghi always fighting with referees he should focus on the team always Inter second half is poor and you can’t do anything about it.This season our problem is we have stop pressing if the opponent gets the ball instead of us to press and get the ball we will stay back till the opponent send the ball to our area and it’s costing us to concede goals.
10/11 players from 1st half started 2nd half and were immediately outplayed. Blame the players a bit for not being strong to work it out on the field. Midfield all but disappeared under Parma pressure
There is a definite mentality issue running throughout the entire club… if you win the first half 2-0, then go out and try and win the second half 2-0!! Sitting back just gives the opposition confidence, and once you gear down, it’s hard to grat back up!! As often as this happens, you would think we would learn from it…
who said inter will win the Scudetto?
From 2:0 to 2:2. Can’t believe it. 🙁
Happy birthday bro
We literally gifted them 2 goals
They deserved 2 in the 1st half. We’ve done little all game in reality
wtf was Bisseck doing….. holding someone for 20 seconds and still letting them do everything they want is NOT defending.
Classic subs!!!
Just Classic
Our ex youth coach watched 45 mins and made changes that have screwed us!!
Our coach text the bench to say “take everyone off who could do anything remotely attacking”
Furious!
It is so fcking stupid to sit back like that. Every time.
Are we sitting back or did Parma step up their game, tempo and tactics? A little of both I think. We can come back.
We deserve that…. Here comes Paulo….
Ah but I’m reasonable apparently.
I take it you put zero blame at the coach even though it’s every week right?!
I blame the entire team and management! Your boy Lautaro should have buried his chances, and your boy Frattesi will bring us nothing in midfield…. But yes, Inzaghi needs to work on the mentality of sitting back on 2-0 leads… I just don’t constantly slate a coach who’s brought us so much success, on such limited funds…
With limited funds he still has the best team in Italy at his disposal. Inzaghi is a quality coach, but not a great one.
Inzaghi is not a smart coach if Inzaghi fails to win the league head must roll.
We’re screwed
At least Napoli is not getting any champions league money this year
This substitutions are worse than Inazghi’s
I’m generally a positive guy, but Correa and Frattesi (with Asllani in midfield) does not fill me with confidence…. prove me wrong boys….
especially with Parma gaining momentum… Let’s get ready to suffer for the 25-30 minutes.
Inzaghi is making too many experiments lately.
We have a packed schedule and a lot of injuries, so it’s understandable.
OK but playing the same time Frattesi and Asllani is too much. If need be, better to sacrifice the UCL, which we can’t win anyway, than to give the Serie A away to Napoli with our own hands.
add biseck and darmian
Meanwhile Napoli on Monday will win 7-0
If Napoli beat Bologna 7-0, I’ll give you my house!!
You never know; you better find another place!
so you’re sure that Inter will lose against Bologna, but Bologna at home will lose 7-0 against Napoli…
You just confirmed that you’re mentally impaired.
We deserve that.
I bet Napoli won’t win. Bologna are a hard one.
Told you Dimarco is just lame today
It would be nice if we didn’t have this habit of resting on 2-0 leads…. here we go again….
Are we going to keep doing his ’til the end of the season? Going up in the first half just to suffer in the second half?
Yes. As long as we are in “energy saving” mode. Playing while always considering the next match effects mentality
Playing tired up 2 nil will result in the ball in our end for entire 2nd half and now they scored so we must now react!!! It’s never easy for Inter and it’s fans
Damn, that was a great goal by Parma
Dimarco LOL I guess he wanted to get red card so he can get some rest
Hope nothing bad happened to Bastoni
i think its safe enough to rest thula, hakan, n darmian (since we have no one on the right side) earlier in 2nd half. n bring corea, arna, n berenbruc in.
then last two subs is to replace di marco n mhiki.
The defense looks poor. Sommer is playing superior football! Parma is weak so goals will come for Inter in due course. General lack of pace defending counter attacks will bite this squad until new players are signed.
That was a funny goal. But a goal is a goal Lol
Marcus Thuram thought the match has ended and he exchanged jersey. Since when players exchange jersey during the first half? LOL
Maybe he knows that he will not play in the second half?
maybe
I think some teams when going in halftime they are changing jerseys because of sweating.
Lilian Thuram is not happy!
Anything Lukaku can do, Thuram can do better!!!
The look on his face after the goal says it all , he knows he was very lucky this gone in hahah
Most hilarious goal this season!!!!!!!
Even his father was shaking his head on the stands lol
right, lol.
Was that genius, or pure luck?? I think we know, but I’ll take it!!! goooaaalll!!!! Thuram!!!
You can tell he didnt even celebrate lol. But lucky is lucky.
funny goal Thuram
I just learned that Musiala got injured against Augsburg and probably won’t play against Inter. They won’t have Davies, Upamecano, and now Musiala.
Is sommer gonna be Man of match two games in a row?
Dimarco already tired having forgotten in 3 days he got to face B Munich.
I have a feeling that Augusto may get the start in the away leg, for his defensive solidity…
Lautaro should have buried that!!
We look absent in defense today
Miracle Save fro. Sommer!!!! Outstanding!!!
So just when i get anoyed by Darmian not providing anything in attack for a while now, he goes on to score lol
That was some great goalkeeping fromnSommer, what a save ! Wish he was younger
Cristian Chivu must help inter
Massimiliano Farris must finish this match as quick as possible with least damage as much as possible.
Cool finish from Darmian!!! goooaaalll!!!! Let’s Gooooo!!!!!
Bisseck LOL mdr
Sommer with a big save!! Great goalkeeping!!
Yesterday my birthday, today Inzaghi’s birthday. Win and give us gift. Forza!
happy birthday mate!
Thank you very much, Defkon. 🙂
Happy birthday! I wish you all the best 🙂
Thank you very much, Inter fan. 🙂
I will say it until the cows come home…..
Bisseck and asllani are not good enough.
People arguing about bisseck, he has a lot of potential, but he is not ready for this level.
Just watch Tammy’s goal from the derby, schoolboy from bisseck. He will learn, but the proving ground should not be in the first team.
I think he has a much greater chance than asllani who hasn’t shown anything since day one.
100% agree Bisseck shows the greatest potential but Inzaghi must be careful in how he use him. Asllani needs to really wake up and do something special otherwise his project is already over. Hopefully today with Hakan maybe he will show something different.
hope we win. dont expect too much from asllani
Last week I mentioned of wanting to see Asllani and Hakan starting together and today I see it.
I hope it works well.
