erefore, thInter Milan are counting on Francesco Acerbi to do his most impressive man-marking job yet against Harry Kane and Bayern Munich.
This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan defender Francesco Acerbi has proven up to the task of marking just about every striker in Europe.
Among the many centre-forwards that the veteran Italian international has neutralized in Serie A have been Victor Osimhen, Romelu Lukaku, Dusan Vlahovic, Olivier Giroud, and Moise Kean.
And Acerbi’s record in the Champions League is similarly stellar.
Most famously, the 37-year-old has kept Erling Haaland off the scoresheet and out of the match – twice.
Inter Hope Acerbi Can Do Best Man-Marking Job Yet Vs Kane & Bayern

But Acerbi could be in for his toughest task yet tomorrow.
Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has arguably been the outstanding striker in all of Europe this campaign.
Beyond the Englishman’s return of nearly a goal per match. Kane has provided Bayern a focal point in attack in terms of holdup play.
Kane’s physicality and technique have made him a massive presence both in the penalty area and when dropping deeper to link up play.
Therefore, that will given Acerbi a tremendously tough task trying to keep the Bayern striker quiet.
But if anyone can do it, it is probably the former Lazio and Sassuolo veteran.
