Inter Milan star Carlos Augusto will replace Federico Dimarco in the starting line-up against Bayern Munich later this evening.
Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Italian wingback is not fully fit and will start on the bench.
Despite overcoming a muscle injury during the international break, Federico Dimarco is not at his best.
Indeed, he had come off midway through the second half against Parma last Saturday as a precautionary measure.
However, Simone Inzaghi will likely leave him on the bench tonight.
Carlos Augusto Starts Ahead of Federico Dimarco in Bayern Munich vs Inter Milan Clash

Though Nicola Zalewski took Dimarco’s place at Ennio Tardini, Carlos Augusto will get the nod in Munich.
In addition to Dimarco, Inter will be without another first-choice wingback.
Indeed, Denzel Dumfries has yet to recover from a nasty hamstring problem.
Therefore, Matteo Darmian will fill the void on the right flank.
He should be full of confidence after breaking the deadlock in Emilia-Romagna.
Meanwhile, Kristjan Asllani is ineligible to play after accumulating yellow cards against Feyenoord in the last-16.
On the bright side, Alessandro Bastoni will start in defense after regaining full fitness.
Not surprising. Everytime there is a big game that is physically demanding Dimarco gets injured or is not fully fit. He always hides from these big moments. As I said before Inter needs a wingback that is physical and can run the full 90 minutes. Dimarco is becoming a liability because he is always injured every 2 or 3 games. What’s the point having a wingback as a starter if he is not consistently playing. Sell him in the summer for the right price.
Thats why Conté never wanted him.
Even when he’s fit, the dude is gassed after 60 minutes…
