Giuseppe Iachini Insists Inter Milan Midfielder Davide Frattesi Is One Of The Best

Inzaghi may have played his part right, but it was Frattesi who placed the ball in the back of the net.

While he isn’t always a starter, the Italy international remains one of the best in the country. This is least according to his former manager, Iachini.

“He is an important player, a modern midfielder who knows how to attack the opponent’s goal,” said the former Sassuolo and Sampdoria coach in his interview with Radio Kiss Kiss via FcInterNews.

“He has good technique and good legs. I coached him at Sassuolo, and at the time, he was a talented young man with the right qualities.

“I made him stay with us in the first team alongside with Raspadori and Scamacca.

“Frattesi is among the best Italian midfielders, he is one of those who can reach double figures every year,” concluded Iachini.

Frattesi has thus far scored six goals in all competitions this season.
