Alfredo Pedulla anticipates that Inter Milan, Juventus, and Barcelona target Jonathan David is asking for wages of €8-10 million net per season.
Pedulla explained in a video on his YouTube channel that the Canadian is also expecting a hefty sign-on bonus and agent commissions. He expects Inter will not meet the striker’s demands.
Inter Milan have shown their interest in signing Lille striker Jonathan David for months.
The 25-year-old looks set to be the most high profile free transfer opportunity of the summer.
And Inter are certainly no strangers to free transfer signings. That is the route via which they’ve signed Hakan Calhanoglu, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Marcus Thuram among others.
However, even thought David will not command a transfer fee, his signing would not be cheap.
Pedulla: Inter, Juventus & Barcelona Target Jonathan David Wants €8-10M Net/Season

SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla said of Jonathan David that “at the moment, I don’t see him as close to joining Inter.”
“Let me explain,” he went on. “There’s interest from Juventus, Barcelona, and Premier League clubs.”
Pedulla continued that “I can confirm that in the contacts Inter have made with his agents, they’ve reiterated that they can’t meet his demands.”
The SportItalia transfer market expert elaborates, “his request is for €8 million, maybe €10 million net per season with add-ons.”
“He also wants a double-digit sign-on bonus. Plus commissions.”
“It will be an expensive signing,” Pedulla made clear of David. “Whoever wants to sign him has to pay.”
“And Inter responded: ‘We can’t pay you that much.'”
“Therefore, the talks are still not in an advanced stage,” Pedulla said of Inter’s interest in David. “But also, not at a point where they’ve completely given up either.”
“Inter have told him: ‘Make the rounds, ask around for what you’re asking, play your game.'”
“‘Then, if you’re still not satisfied, come back to us if you’re thinking of lowering your demands.'”
“Inter are not out of it,” Pedulla made clear. “But they’re not close either.”
The only reason why some big clubs are interested in him is because he is at the end of his current contract. His demands are not worth paying; at a big club he would be a rotation option anyway.
