Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to start Federico Dimarco and Nicola Zaewski on the flanks against Cagliari. This evening’s Serie A matchday 32 clash kicks off at 18.00 CET.
Inter Milan take on Cagliari in Serie A this evening.
The Nerazzurri will feel that they must beat the Rossoblu in order to keep the pressure on Napoli in the title race.
However, Cagliari will not prove straightforward opposition, whatever their position in the table suggests.
There will be huge motivation for the Sardinians to get an upset result as a boost for their top fight survival bid.
Moreover, Inter saw just how dangerous the teams lower in the table can be when they squandered a 2-0 advantage to draw away to Parma last weekend.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri will hardly be underestimating this evening’s opposition.
Federico Dimarco & Nicola Zalewski Start At Wingback

The most significant team news for Inter comes in the wide areas.
There, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has decided to completely change things up compared to the team that started against Bayern Munich in midweek.
Firstly, Federico Dimarco returns to the starting eleven after having played no part in Munich.
Meanwhile, at right-wingback, Nicola Zalewski makes his first ever start for Inter. Therefore, Matteo Darmian gets a rest for the first time in five matches.
Between the posts, then, it is Yann Sommer as usual.
In defense, meanwhile, there are more changes. Yann Bisseck, Stefan de Vrij, and Carlos Augusto start in the back three.
Therefore, all of Benjamin Pavard, Francesco Acerbi, and Alessandro Bastoni drop to the bench.
In midfield, meanwhile, there’s one notable change: Davide Frattesi starts in place of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, having come off the bench to score the winner against Bayern.
Then, Hakan Calhanoglu and Nicolo Barella retain their starting places.
Lastly, in attack Marko Arnautovic starts, leading the line alongside Lautaro Martinez.

Important win. Now will be tough against Bologna.
nice boring win without much drama. zalewski seemed to be at 60% from the start.. hope the injury not too bad. guys look rested as well. now for bayern!!
is it just me, or did our guys look bored playing this match.. lol.
Correa is full of energy today.
Zalewski injured again, No permanent move
The big difference from the Parma match is that Inter stopped playing but in this match there’s no sign of that. Conceding is normal at this stage and a lesson for the second match against Bayern. Just keep playing and they’ll surely concede. The goal from Bisseck was inevitable
I feel like Bisseck could do that 6x a season easily with his height. Keep going!!
2:1. Parma is happening again.
Nope. As long as Inter keep playing they’ll win while in that match Inter stopped playing
Glad we won.
Why do you always have to be so negative?
It’s my nature. 🙂
Sleep
Our defenders always ball watching on crosses, wth is wrong with them.
Here we go again….pazzo
I prefer Berenbruch over asllani in 2nd half
lautaro and his obsession of sliding tackle
We need to go up 3 before Anslani comes on.
Man of the match Arna 100%. Best first half performance in Inter’s colours
not MOTM, but he has improved 100% since Feb. he’s actually the only striker who looks like he’s going to score, toro, Correa, taremi and Thuram don’t look so.
ARNA HAVING HIMSELF A DAY!!!! Golazo
We should keep arna next season. He’s our best backup striker at the moment
Arna been on fire lately lol never thought id say that this season
The guy is turning into Dzeko very crucial for Arna to get the goals.
He actually appeared to be a true striker. We need his contributions. Bravo!
I would prefer Arna to stay over Taremi.
Exactly the numbers don’t lie. He’s much more brave in front of goal than Taremi even if Inter do let him go he will leave with some great history and trophies
the last time he was here he left with the treble…just saying
.
Every time we turn the ball over we will be tense as they counter attack. Long day ahead
Win if possible. No excuse to lose points today.
Let’s make easy for our self and win the match in the first half I don’t wana see Asslani and Correa searching for a goal in the last minutes if the match forza Inter
This April schedule is so crazy. Rotation is a must. Every single player have to give their best contribution.
Forza Inter.
