Yann Bisseck feels that yesterday’s win over Cagliari was “massive” for Inter Milan, and that Wednesday’s match against Bayern Munich will be “great.”

The German international spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN after yesterday’s match, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan got a big win in Serie A yesterday against Cagliari.

The Nerazzurri knew that any result other than a victory would present a significant opportunity to Napoli to gain ground in the title race.

And with just a few weeks left to go in the season, every match could be decisive.

On paper, of course, Inter were clear favourites over Cagliari.

However, it was hardly a result in which the Nerazzurri were going to take anything for granted.

Matches against Udinese and Parma in the last couple weeks have been a clear demonstration of how tricky matches against teams in the bottom half of the table can be.

Meanwhile, Inter have had other things to worry about. They faced Bayern Munich in the Champions League last Tuesday.

And this coming Wednesday, Inter will face the Bavarians again. It will be the second leg of that absolutely monumental Champions League quarterfinal tie.

Yann Bisseck was on the scoresheet for Inter yesterday. He scored the all-important third goal in the second half.

“I’m very happy with my goal,” said the German international.

“The most important thing was the win,” he added.

“It was a great match,” said Bisseck. “Now we have to keep going like this.”

Yann Bisseck then commented that “winning helps you win.”

“In the second half maybe we were a bit tired. But we always prepare well for matches, and in the second half today we played well.”

Meanwhile, Bisseck was excited ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Bayern. “See you all at the San Siro!” he said. “It will be a great match.”
