Bologna are tracking teenage Inter Milan striker Francesco Pio Esposito as a potential summer transfer target.

This according to reporter Orazio Accomando of Italian broadcaster DAZN, He reports in a tweet that the Rossoblu had scouted the 19-year-old at a recent Serie B match between Mantova and Spezia.

At the moment, striker Francesco Pio Esposito is on loan at Spezia.

The teenage striker has had a sensational season so far. He has scored fourteen goals for the Ligurian club, putting him joint third in the Serie B scoring charts.

Pio Espoisito is a youth academy graduate at Inter.

Having starred for the Nerazzurri at various youth team levels up to the Primavera or Under-19 side, Pio Esposito is now getting important experience in senior football.

Off the back of Pio Esposito’s form this season, there is no lack of transfer interest in the teenage striker.,

Reportedly, Napoli made an offer for the 19-year-old.  But Inter rejected that bid.

Torino are also very keen on Pio Esposito.

Meanwhile, from the Premier League the likes of Manchester United and Leicester City have reportedly expressed an interest in the young striker’s signature.

However, Inter have made it clear that they consider Pio Esposito an important part of the future plans.

The Nerazzurri have tied the 19-year-old down with a new five-year contract. He has extended his deal until the end of June 2030.

Therefore, if anything, the most likely move for Pio Esposito the summer would be another loan.

But this time, it would almost certainly be to a team in Serie A.

And a notable name have emerged as suitors for Pio Esposito.
