Lautaro Martinez had one of his biggest matches with the Inter Milan armband yesterday.

The Nerazzurri captain had already led his team to a famous win away at Bayern Munich last week. He had capped off an excellent performance with a memorable trivela goal.

But it was always going to be even tougher in the second leg.

Therefore, Inter needed their captain to rise to the occasions.

And Lautaro Martinez proved to be up to the task.

Even as Inter struggled to establish a foothold in the match, the Argentine battled to get his team up the pitch.

It was crucial to Inter keeping their heads above water as Bayern turned up the pressure.
