Inter Milan have yet to make a decision on whether or not to keep striker Mehdi Taremi at the club past the end of this season.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan signed Mehdi Taremi on a free transfer last summer.
The Iranian arrived after his contract with Porto had expired.
And it would be fair to say that it has been something of a mixed, if not downright underwhelming, season from Taremi.
The 32-year-old has dealt with his share of injuries and physical problems.
And this has meant that Taremi has never really been able to push for a starting spot at Inter. He has scored just three goals for the club to date.
Inter Milan Undecided On Future Of Mehdi Taremi

According to the Corriere della Sera, Mehdi Taremi would really be a candidate to leave Inter at the end of the season.
The Iranian international has had his moments. Particularly with his performances in the Champions League.
However, on balance, Taremi has not convinced.
And with Marko Arnautovic a possible candidate for a surprise contract extension, that would leave little room for Taremi in the attacking rotations as Inter look to rejuvenate by signing a young striker.
This has left Taremi’s future up in the air.
As of yet, however, the Corriere della Sera report that Inter have not made a final decision.
Taremi is better than any striker inter has!! if it wasn’t because of injuries he suffered he’d Rock & be the best at inter!!
plus, don’t forget that over 90% of the time he came in the last 5_15 mins & expecting miracle when everyone is trying to either keep the result or defend is not fare!! not to mention even in those little times he’s always been helping!!
Bow many games Thuram & Lautaro played the whole time or over 70_80 mins & didn’t do anything or after missing multiple opportunities they finally got one but how many chances Taremi had?? we all have watched the games the whole season, how supportive his teammates were in those games ir he had to come all the way back & grab the ball himself?? plus how many assists he had?? don’t forget all that!!
He definitely deserves to stay & in anyone needs to leave is correa & Arnautovic!! Just because in the last 2_3 games he did something doesn’t qualify him over injured Taremi, not to mention that he’s 6 years older than Taremi!!
if Taremi gets healthy noone can beat him & his records shows!! 2 consecutive years #1 goal scorer in Portugal league & Puskas nominee for a bicycle goal vs Chelsea!! don’t underestimate a legend!! I bet you noone else with his condition would even play or score or assists any!!
let’s be fare & appreciate what we’ve got & support him to get us what he’s capable of!!
Best ✌️
plz sell him, thats not up for discussion
