Simone Inzaghi is not “choosing” between competitions, and won’t rotate the Inter Milan squad against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based-newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that there will just be a couple changes, with Federico Dimarco and Josep Martinez set to come in.
Inter Milan take on AC Milan in the Coppa Italia this evening.
Everything is to play for in the semifinal second leg after the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw.
But at the same time, there are also other considerations for Inter.
The Nerazzurri are fighting on three fronts. There is nothing to split them with Napoli in the Serie A title race, whilst they also face a Champions League semifinal tie against Barcelona.
Inzaghi Not “Choosing” Competitions – No Major Squad Rotation In Inter Vs AC Milan Coppa Italia Clash

There has been some suggestion of squad rotation for this evening’s match against AC Milan.
Particularly after some evident tiredness in the team against Bologna on Sunday.
However, reports Tuttosport, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi wants basically as strong a team as possible for this evening’s match.
Even if that means that some key starters have to put in overtime.
Tuttosport report that Federico Dimarco will replace Carlos Augusto in the starting eleven from Bologna.
Meanwhile, Josep Martinez will continue his run as Inter’s cup keeper. He has played all three matches in the Coppa Italia so far, and will replace Yann Sommer in the lineup this evening.
But otherwise, it will be the same starting eleven from the Serie A match against Bologna over the weekend.
