Marcus Thuram, Denzel Dumfries, and Piotr Zielinski will all be back fit for Inter Milan in matches against Roma and Barcelona.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan have been without a few key players in recent matches.
Striker Marcus Thuram has missed the last two matches after suffering some muscular fatigue in last week’s Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, wingback Denzel Dumfries and midfielder Piotr Zielinski have been out with longer. They’ve been absent for more than a month with strains to their thigh and calf respectively.
And Inter have really missed these players. Particularly across the last couple matches.
Inter lost to Bologna in Serie A and AC Milan in the Coppa Italia in their two most recent matches.
These fixtures really put the squad depth to the test.
The likes of Mehdi Taremi and Joaquin Correa have not convinced in place of Thuram. Meanwhile, veterans Matteo Darmian and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have had to put in overtime.
Thuram, Dumfries & Zielinski To Return In Inter Vs Roma & Barcelona Clashes

But according to the Corriere, it is good news for Inter moving forward.
The newspaper report that all three of Thuram, Dumfries, and Zielinski will be back for Inter’s next match.
The Nerazzurri will host Roma in Serie A on Sunday. That match had been scheduled for Saturday initially, but was bumped back due to the funeral of Pope Francis.

The Corriere report that none of Thuram, Dumfries, or Zielinski will yet be ready to start that match.
However, the trio should be in the squad. And could come off the bench.
That will mean that all three will be ready for Inter’s Champions League semifinal first leg away to Barcelona next week.
