Striker Marko Arnautovic is reportedly set to leave Inter Milan before the FIFA Club World Cup this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908.

Striker Marko Arnautovic is currently under contract with Inter Milan until the end of June.

Therefore, there are only a few weeks left to run on the Austrian international’s deal.

Moreover, there are currently no signs of a new contract for Arnautovic.

The veteran former West Ham United and Stoke City striker has been in fine form over the last few weeks.

However, Arnautovic turned 36 this month. It is difficult to see a place for a player of his age in a more youth-focused project next season.

According to the Gazzetta, Marko Arnautovic will be on his way when the season ends.

And in fact, the newspaper anticipates, the 36-year-old striker will not even be a part of the squad for the FIFA Club World Cup this summer.

Inter will take part in the expanded format of the tournament starting in June.

However, reports the Gazzetta, Arnautovic will part ways with the club before then. There will be no short-term arrangement, and he will be departing at the end of the season proper.
