Stuttgart are among the clubs keen to loan in Inter Milan midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic for next season.
This according to Swiss newspaper Blick, vis FCInter1908. They report that there’s also interest from Serie A and the Belgian league.
Inter Milan midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic has spent this season on loan with Swiss club Luzern.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed an outstanding campaign. So much so that he has even been tipped to win the midfielder of the year award for the Swiss Super League.
Luzern have a purchase option on Aleksandar Stankovic. They can sign the Serb on a permanent basis for a fee of €1.5 million.
However, Inter in turn have a buyback clause, and can bring Stankovic back immediately.
Blick reports that Inter would need to pay €3 million to sign the Serb back. And there’s little question that they will exercise this.

The question now is what next season has in store for Aleksandar Stankovic.
According to Blick, Inter want something similar to this campaign for the Serb. He has taken a big step forward this time out – and the hope is for another next campaign.
There would hardly be room for Stankovic to receive playing time back at Inter.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri will likely look to loan the 19-year-old.
Inter would consider sending Stankovic back to Luzern for another season. But only if they are to qualify for European competition – not currently a certainty.
On the other hand, there are several other clubs interested.
There is interest in Stankovic’s signature from the Belgian top flight – Club Brugge and Anderlecht are keen. Then, Blick also report that there are Serie A clubs keen on Stankovic.
But there are also teams in the Bundesliga keeping an eye on the young Serb.
And according to Blick Stuttgart in particular would be keen to loan in Aleksandar Stankovic.
