Furthermore, his defensive shortcomings came to the fore in last week’s first leg in Spain.

Indeed, Lamine Yamal destroyed the 27-year-old, casting doubt on his reliability for the second leg.

Dimarco’s struggles at Montjuic have not spooked Simone Inzaghi.

On the contrary, the 49-year-old will trust his star wingback again tonight at the expense of Carlos Augusto.

Though this seems like a controversial decision, Inzaghi has a good reason.
