Inter Milan will aim to seal a new contract for Simone Inzaghi before the Club World Cup this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri coach will earn €6.5 million net per season plus €3 million in add-ons.
It is hardly a surprise that Inter Milan want to keep Simone Inzaghi on as their coach.
The 49-year-old former Lazio boss is now in his fourth season on the Nerazzurri bench.
There have certainly been bumps in the road over the last four years for Inzaghi at Inter. This season, for example, Inter have missed out on the Coppa Italia, and are behind Napoli in the race for the Serie A title.
However, the overall trend has certainly been positive.
Inzaghi has had Inter fighting for the Serie A title in three of his four seasons in charge. The Nerazzurri won it in dominant fashion last time out, and still have a chance this campaign.
Meanwhile, Inzaghi has guided Inter to the Champions League knockout rounds in all four of his seasons at the club.
And then this is the second Champions League final that Inter will be competing in.
Inter Milan Aiming To Seal Simone Inzaghi Extension Before FIFA Club World Cup

Tuttosport report that Inter have everything ready for a new deal for Simone Inzaghi.
The coach is currently under contract until the end of June 2026. However, Inter hardly want to head into next season with their coach on an expiring contract.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri are ready to extend Inzaghi’s deal until the end of June 2027.
That has always been the aim for Inter with Beppe Marotta at the helm.
Inzaghi will receive wages of €6.5 million net per season on his new deal, plus €3 million in add-ons.
Tuttosport report that Inter will not seal a new contract for Inzaghi before the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
However, the newspaper reports, the 49-year-old should sign his extension before the team leave for the Club World Cup in the United States.
double his wages, he’s an amazing coach, best in the world right now, give him some 3 or for solid players and we’ll hunt bilan nukber of UCL.
give him 100% raise of his salary n make it long term like 5 years n release clause possibly 50m
with the players just entering their peak with couple of addition inter may go back to back winning champions league with some significant addition (right wingback, centre back, striker, another centre midfielder) or at the very least inter wont be a laughing stock.
who said inter are underdogs? we competed in 3 competition. it was tiredness that hit them so they couldn’t win treble. also some stupid fans want quality bench players on the same level of our staring lineup, you know what would happen if inter did it? we went bankrupt in less than 2 years. inter miraculously survived bankruptcy and are still recovering though the conditioner is quite good now, but real inter fans never wanna go back to dark age after treble era due to financial situation. so think before you speak because your brain is in your head, not in your ass
