Paolo Condo believes that Napoli have now used their out-of-jail card, as Inter Milan will be there to pounce on the opportunity to retake the lead.

While the other top European leagues have already crowned their champions, the winner of the Serie A title remains anyone’s guess.

Inter and Napoli have been taking part in one of the most epic Scudetto battles in recent memory. The lead has been changing hands on several occasions in recent months, and only one point separates the two sides at the moment.

Nevertheless, the most renowned football betting platforms still recognise Napoli as the favourites to prevail. After all, Antonio Conte’s men sit at the top of the table with only two rounds separating them from the finish line.

The Southerners entered the previous weekend with a healthy three-point lead. But while Inter registered a 2-0 win over Torino away from home, Napoli dropped two valuable points at home against Genoa.

Romelu Lukaku and Giacomo Raspadori were both on the scoresheet. However, the Grifone managed to equalize on two occasions to scupper the Maradona’s post-match celebrations.

But while Napoli still occupy the top spot, Condo insists they no longer have room for error.

The journalist believes that if Napoli drop points again, Inter will certainly win the title.

“I don’t know much about the odds, but the Scudetto debate has certainly reopened,” said Condo in his interview with Superscommesse.it via FcInterNews.

“Napoli used the bonus they had, now they have to win two out of two. These are two not impossible matches, but now that they lost their safety cushion if will be different.

“I also firmly believe that Inter won’t lose any more points from now until the end all the season. However, it all still depends on Napoli, in particular how this exciting head-to-head will end.”

The Remaining Fixtures For Inter Milan & Napoli

In the penultimate round of the season, Inter will host Lazio at San Siro. At the same time, Napoli will take on Parma at the Ennio Tardini.

As for the final round, Napoli will lock horns with Cagliari at the Stadio Maradona, while the Nerazzurri clash heads with their Lombardian neighbours, Como.

Simone Inzaghi’s men will be hellbent on winning both fixtures and hoping for gifts either from Parma or Cagliari.
