Inter Milan are hoping for a “miracle” from Cagliari against Napoli to save their derailed dreams of another Serie A title.
This is the view in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan haven’t quite waved goodbye to the Serie A title just yet.
In the table, the Nerazzurri are just one point behind Napoli at the top.
Therefore, anything could happen on the final day of the season. If the Partenopei are to drop points, Inter will have the chance to nip in ahead of the league leaders.
Inter face Como in their final match of the Serie A campaign. Meanwhile Napoli take on Cagliari.
Inter Hope For A “Miracle” From Cagliari Against Napoli

If Inter want to keep believing, they can certainly point to Napoli’s last two results.
The Partenopei have drawn against both Genoa and Parma in their last two matches.
Meanwhile, Napoli’s 1-0 wins against the likes of Monza and Lecce in recent weeks have been deeply uninspiring in terms of performances.
However, the Gazzetta notes, Cagliari will be a bit of a different situation.
The Rossoblu simply won’t have all that great of a motivation to get a result after having mathematically guaranteed themselves another season in Serie A.
Therefore, it will need something like a “miracle” for the Sardinian teams to do Inter a huge favour.

A playoff for the title seems fair seeing both Inter and Napoli are trying to out bottle each other. My prediction is an inter draw against Como, and a last minute winner for Cagliari against Napoli. The championship game for the title will boost the Serie A ratings.
We’ve been given 2 miracles in the last 2 weeks, and yet again, we have failed to capitalise… the truth is that we surely blew our last chance yesterday, and even if we do win the Scudetto, we don’t deserve it… I’m not gonna get started on the likes of Taremi and Arnautovic (for the love of God, how do you miss that?? And how do you not have the sense to leave Augustos header alone, knowing you are 3 yards offside?!?) – they have been liabilities since they signed- but as an Inter fan, I was appalled and disgusted by the lack of effort by our starting 11 yesterday!! I’m looking at the likes of Acerbi (what was that header for their first goal??) Barella ( literally walking through the first half) Miki (My God, just retire!!!)
These players have clearly decided that everything hinges on the Champions league…. fine if you win it, but if you don’t, this will be a season of massive regret!! Inzaghi should have realised this too, and played more of the team that showed hunger against Torino…. How did Zalewski not keep his place after that performance?? DeVrij should have played the remainder of the league matches….
If we manage to win the Champions League (and that we do deserve!) then fair play, but if we don’t, some of these players need to take a long hard look at themselves!!!!
nothing like miracle just rest and it is just like 21 congratulations Napoli
