Joaquin Correa signed off for his time at Inter Milan with a “jewel” of a goal in yesterday’s Serie A clash with Como.
This is the view in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Joaquin Correa played what was surely his final match for Inter Milan in Serie A yesterday.
The Argentine is not in Inter’s squad list for the Champions League. Therefore, there is certainly no chance that he’ll feature in the final against Paris Saint-Germain.
However, that fact has meant that Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has frequently called upon Correa in Serie A this season.
Joaquin Correa Signs Off For Inter Milan With “Jewel” Vs Como

Correa has been playing as an attacking midfielder in a couple recent matches for Inter.
And playing in a 3-4-2-1 shape, partnering Nicola Zalewski behind Mehdi Taremi has really suited the former Lazio and Sevilla forward’s game.
Correa put in about as sharp a display as he’s ever done for Inter against Como yesterday.
The 30-year-old got on the ball in pockets of space frequently, and kept Inter’s play ticking over. He had less of a responsibility in the physical duels with the opposition defense.
Then, Correa scored Inter’s final goal of the Serie A season. It was a mazy run and then a tidy finish from a tight angle.
It would be fair to say that Correa’s time at Inter as a whole has been nowhere near expectations. But he did leave a parting gift that showed the quality he possesses.
Against a 10 man Como team who had nothing to play for. Great!
He’ll still go down as one of our worst signings of last 15 years.
Thanks for noting Joaquin!
thanks joaquin, you can leave in pride now. hope you ll success wherever you go.
