Al-Hilal coach Simone Inzaghi says that “even though our paths have separated, I’ll always have a great love for Inter Milan.”
The new Al-Hilal coach spoke to the Saudi club’s social media channel, via FCInterNews.
Now it’s official. After four years in charge of Inter Milan, Simone Inzaghi has left to join Al-Hilal.
The 49-year-old had first arrived at Inter in the summer of 2021. He came in from Lazio to replace Antonio Conte at the helm of the Nerazzurri after the latter’s tempestuous exit.
There were certainly ups and downs during Inzaghi’s tenure in charge of Inter. However, on the whole, it was a successful four-year spell.
Inzaghi won the Serie A title, the Coppa Italia twice, and the Supercoppa Italiana on three occasions with Inter. He also guided the Nerazzurri to two Champions League finals.
Therefore, there had been a feeling that if Inzaghi were to stay for the long haul, he could build a long-term cycle in the club’s history.
However, that is not the decision the former Lazio coach has made. He has instead opted for a major change in scenery.
Al-Hilal Coach Simone Inzaghi: “I’ll Always Have Great Love For Inter”

New Al-Hilal coach Simone Inzaghi gave his thoughts on his departure from Inter Milan.
“I said it when I left,” he began.
“I have great memories of them. For how they treated me, and how I felt during my four years in Milan.”
“There remains a great relationship,” Inzaghi said,
“Our paths have separated. But there will always be an great mutual respect and love.”
Thanks Mister for everything.
wishing you all the best in your new journey and chapter. Forza Milano still
It would have been better if he’d just said, I really want to be rich and don’t have any morals so I’m off to Saudi boys with contract I sorted behind your backs…
I’d have at least some respect for him left then.
But he’s a lying, dishonest, money grabbing scumbag. Who contrary to popular misconception under achieved with this squad.
People sh*tting on conte and applauding this disloyal POS are deluded.
If zhang had backed conte he’d never have left. He walked because he didn’t get assurances, he never wanted to go.
Inzaghi planned this, he knew he was going, he worked behind the scenes to get this move and his words of love for the club are all lies
He’s in the same boat as lukaku in my eyes
F both of them!!!
the truth is inzaghi wanted to rebuild the team with fresh blood, but oaktree wouldn’t give him that much. 3 years after the last final, there wasn’t much difference to our team except they’re aging more. the 3 years younger team against half broken man city couldn’t do shit, then what would you expect from 3 years older inter against top team filled with young talents and top coach in the final?
inzaghi took half of the blame for his weird tactic and the other half was oaktree
anyways, let’s go back to dark age and enjoy our rival Milan play with their big signings next season
So love means you will never accept a job offer from Inter rivals.. thats how love means when it comes to Inter.
Inzaghi: I dont have anymore energy left to give.
Next day…
Halloooooo! €30M salary per year. New found energy booster.
You would also find 26 million reasons to find new motivation and energy
he does not need to be motivated to collect his paycheck, pioli took his pay too in Saudi and won nothing and did nothing
what do you expect him to say?
a. after the defeat 0-5, he cannot simply continue cause he won’t be able to erase that memory.
b. I am sure the club told him, we won’t be buying new players, you will have to work with players with average age 39.
c. He wanted to work in Saudi Arabia with the he would replace spaghetii as the head coach of Italy
d. I wish he had won the CL, but I knew he wouldn’t: Luis Enrique had won it already with barca against Juve, defeated Italy national team as head coach of Spain, had better players and money. Nasser of Qatar spent every Euro from his endless wealth to win the CL (shady business is part of Qatar). Luis wanted to revenge to Barca
he signed with Al Hilal before the CL final !
