Davide Frattesi and Kristjan Asllani will have a chance to fight for their place at Inter Milan with the arrival of Cristian Chivu as coach.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Davide Frattesi and Kristjan Asllani are two midfielders at a crossroads.
Neither Frattesi nor Asllani have been regular starters for Inter over the past couple seasons.
Therefore, there has long been a sense that both could leave the club.
At the very least, the Nerazzurri will certainly listen to offers for both Frattesi and Asllani.
Frattesi & Asllani To Fight For Inter Futures Under Chivu

However, Frattesi and Asllani have struggled for playing time under coach Simone Inzaghi at Inter.
Inzaghi has left the club, however. The 49-year-old stepped down this week to join Al-Hilal.
Therefore, things could very well change for the likes of Frattesi and Asllani.
Inter have decided upon Cristian Chivu to replace Inzaghi as coach.
And the Romanian will certainly have the chance to evaluate the squad. And he could see certain players differently than Inzaghi had done.
Therefore, that could present a big chance for Frattesi and Asllani to turn things around. If Chivu sees them as having a prominent role in his team, then they could stay at Inter.
You guys are ridiculous, frattesi is class, and can be for years to come – Inzaghi never used him correctly!
He has an eye for goal and under a more adventurous coach could really thrive.
Asllani on the other hand, can get F**ked!! He’s been terrible from day one, never shown anywhere near the promise we’ve been led to believe he had and is a liability on the field much like bisseck, who legitimately costs us many goals with terrible positioning and poor defending yet scored a few so people think he’s good ♂️
It was about Frattesi and Asllani but sure I 100% agree Bisseck is bad that in every situation that Inter discuss about bad players this season he should be included. Inter were really vulnerable with him defending and just like Asllani it started from his first match in that CL match against Benfica in the first half from there he continued to be a liability ever since and Inzaghi ignored it. Dimarco can be a liability but only on matches where opponents have talented attackers at world class level
sell them both !!! sell hakan too !!!
Agree absolutely. Time for them Frattesi and Asllani to prove their worth elsewhere.
Hakan has given his best but, it’s time for him to leave.
sell hakan? you are a joker. i am sure you are not one of us.
Fratessi is a midfielder who provides little teamwork, very poor assist stats, often found out of position due to pushing in to the box so often which puts massive pressure on the balance of the team and the other midfielders.
Fratessi should only be kept in the squad if he is moved to the striker/support striker position vacated by Correa. He grew up playing that position which is why he scores the goals he does. He would work well with our strikers press so it seems a no brainer to me. He’s an average midfielder for everything else expect goals.
You have mistaken ability drop off whereas he is just tired. Our backups were rubbish so he had to play more than he should have. After no break between seasons because of National games the guy has barely had a break. Hakan needs to help develop whoever we decide will ultimately replace him in the next few years. Then he’s off to Saudi.
are you sure, you are a fan of inter?
